We’re releasing a new album in July called “We Humans” and are celebrating this with the French For Cartridge Fun Fayre launch party on July 14th at a secret location in East London!
You can expect fortune tellers, candy floss, organ grinders and the like. And there will of course also be some music from us plus a free bar…An evening not to be missed!
The venue for this event is very intimate and places will be very limited. To guarantee entry for you and a friend, pre-order the new album directly from us at our shop - for £10 you’ll get the album, entry to the gig for two, an FFC Oyster card holder and, while stocks last, one of the ‘Pink, Yellow, Red and Green’ T-shirts Stephanie Pau designed for us. You can pick up all of this on the night or if you live further away, we’ll send it to you on the release day. Sounds like a good deal, no?
We will also be joined by Pizzazz Handbell Trio, who provided the beautiful bells on our recent AA-side single “Boxes”. Out now on iTunes, it will be available as a limited edition 7" on August 19th, backed by “Piff Paff Pow”. Our latest video “Piff Paff Pow”, made by Riccardo Arena, is up on The Quietus this fine Monday afternoon! They say nice things too. Yay!

PIFF! PAFF! POW!
The animated exclamations we’ve been alluding to for the past month can finally be revealed as the title of our new single - out now!
A song about Batman and Robin, with a sci-fi video filled with spaceships and planets and a suitably cartoonish jump-cut of a tune, “Piff Paff Pow” forms a AA-side single together with “Boxes”.
Also off the new album, “Boxes” is a more atmospheric tune and another good indication of the mood that carries through much of the album. One for the start of summer, it features the beautiful handbells of Pizzazz Handbell Trio and is well worth your pocket money.
Having said that, what you really want is to get your hands on the limited edition 7" that will come out on Dinner With Daisy Records on August 19th - with a beautiful cover designed by Damien Beaton and a few other extras - but for instant ownership, get both songs now from iTunes and all other usual digital outlets!
